Emergency Services

Emergency services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year for persons in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency in the Central Kenai Peninsula. We offer crisis intervention and stabilization and evaluation for referrals to crisis care facilities, emergency shelters and hospitals. Our goal is to help the individual in crisis remain in the community by avoiding an unnecessary hospitalization or removal from the person's home and provide follow-up support, as indicated. Our emergency clinicians work collaboratively with the Emergency Department at Central Peninsula Hospital, as well as other community resources.
