Emergency services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year for persons in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency in the Central Kenai Peninsula. We offer crisis intervention and stabilization and evaluation for referrals to crisis care facilities, emergency shelters and hospitals. Our goal is to help the individual in crisis remain in the community by avoiding an unnecessary hospitalization or removal from the person's home and provide follow-up support, as indicated. Our emergency clinicians work collaboratively with the Emergency Department at Central Peninsula Hospital, as well as other community resources. 24-Hour Emergency Hotline • 907 283-7511 To Make an Appointment at Cottonwood Health Center - Behavioral Health Call 907/260-3691, Cottonwood Health Center - Behavioral Health, to indicate your interest in services. A member of the clinical team will contact you to conduct a brief screening by telephone to determine eligibility for our behavioral health programs described above. To assure that we are able to serve as many patients as possible, it is important that patients keep their appointments and arrive on time. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call to cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. |
