PCHS has Eligibility Specialists for Insurance Help

Our eligibility specialists are trained and able to help consumers as they look for health coverage options through the marketplace, including completing eligibility and enrollment forms. This service is free . Kelly and Lindsey are unbiased and help is available to anyone. They will help with Medicaid and Medicare Insurance applications. They will verify income submissions for those who qualify for the PCHS sliding fee scale for Medical, Eye Care, Dental and Behavioral Health Services.

When you apply you will need

• Photo ID

• Birth date

• Social Security Number

• Green Cards for Permanent Residents, Certificates for Naturalized Citizens

• Current income information (examples: pay stubs, social security letter, bank statements, or tax returns for self-employed) 

Kelly Whitmore, Eligibility Specialist

Education: New Frontier Vocational School, Soldotna AK 


Kelly was born and raised in Alaska, and moved to the Kenai Peninsula in January of 1985. She raised two sons who also reside on the Kenai Peninsula. Working in customer relations is a field she excels in. Kelly has found a good fit working in the Healthcare industry and helping the community. 


Kelly has been with PCHS starting January of 2008. Here at PCHS she is a Eligibility Specialist for the Health Insurance Marketplace and Certified Medicare Counselor. PCHS offers a sliding scale to all clients who fit the qualifying criteria; she would be pleased to review your personal situation for the sliding scale discount program. She could also help with questions about retiring and signing up for social security, Medicare, Medicaid and help navigating The Health Insurance Marketplace.  

Lindsey Anasogak, Eligibility Specialist

Specialty: Eligibility Specialist; Certified Application Counselor for the Health Insurance Marketplace


Education: Associates Degree, Kenai Peninsula College.


Lindsey was born and raised in Bethel, Alaska and lived on the Kenai Peninsula from 2003 to 2006 when she moved to Fairbanks, AK. She then returned to the Kenai Peninsula in August 2009. Lindsey has worked for PCHS starting 2016 and assists with the Sliding Fee Discount program for patients that are eligible based on family size and income. She is also available to assist with Medicaid and is a Marketplace Certified Application Counselor. Lindsey participates in outreach activities and community meetings to promote PCHS and our services.
