
Benjamin Wright - Chief Executive Officer
Experience: Benjamin ‘Ben’ Wright has worked as an administrator for organizations dedicated to serving those in need for more than 30 years. That experience has included serving the mentally ill, medically fragile, and overseeing a variety of licensed facilities. Ensuring the health and wellness of those served, while supporting the viability of the organization providing services, has been the cornerstone of his career.
Ben historically has encouraged organizational success development and expansion. Each of the organizations Ben has been a part of has grown in both the programs offered, as well as the number of individuals served; which was accomplished while increasing the reinvestment margin of the organization. Ben has also provided consulting for nonprofit boards.
Education: Ben has a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University, of Davenport, IA.
Profile: Ben and his family are happy to be part of the Soldotna/Kenai community. His children are outdoor enthusiasts, and Alaska will provide many opportunities for adventure!

My approach to finance is influenced by the mission of the organization I serve, to ensure that precious resources are fully maximized for the benefit of its stakeholders. I join PCHS with over 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting. Before coming to Alaska, I served as a CFO for a community health center and a Native Hawaiian organization. I carry with me in my new role with PCHS the same commitment to service that has benefited my career and community.
When I am not at work, I could be travelling, fishing, camping, and/or reading. I love to be outdoors and experiencing new adventures.

I have been practicing Family Medicine in Alaska for over 6 years. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my patients. My goal is always to establish a therapeutic alliance with people so they can become invested in their healthcare. I promise to listen and provide thoughtful and honest feedback for those I care for.
My personal interests include hiking and biking, especially with my lovely wife.

Cristina Lee - Chief Operating Officer
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Washburn University, Topeka, KS; Juris Doctor, Washburn Law School, Topeka, KS.
Experience: Cris has many years of operations and leadership experience in various fields including legal, banking and medical. She was initially drawn to PCHS by its mission and values, and welcomed the opportunity to apply her administrative experience and education to help PCHS patients and clients get the care they need. She continues to be inspired and motivated by PCHS patients, clients, and staff to bring her best efforts to PCHS every day.
Cris is married with two adult children and two spoiled dogs. She has lived in Alaska for over 19 years in the communities of Fairbanks, Seward, Kenai, and Soldotna.

Mandy Coyle – Chief Compliance Officer

Experience: Over 20 years of health care experience ranging in clinical practice, management to privacy and compliance. I have recieved certifications in Health Care Compliance and Health Care Privacy Compliance from the HCCA. My passion is to serve the community to the best of my ability and to assist within the realm of current rules and regulations.
Personal Interests: I am married with one daughter, five dogs and one cat. I am from North Central Wisconsin and am originally from a small family dairy farm. Our family enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, Jeep-ing and exploring anything related to the outdoors. Our family is excited to be part of the Soldotna/Kenai community.

Alan K. - Director of Health Information Technology
Profile: Alan worked at PCHS as the Applications Coordinator before becoming the Director of Health Information Technology in 2015. He has over 22 years combined experience in Healthcare IT and specialized IT. Those years of experience span honorable military service in the US Army as a signaleer; project manager, network and systems administrator assignments as a Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian and DoD Contractor in numerous worldwide locations to include Haiti, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Qatar, among others. Prior to working at PCHS, Alan was a project manager for the US Army Network Enterprise Center at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Previous to that, he was a General Dynamics IT project manager/multi-functional system administrator for MC4, supporting military EMRs and EHRs throughout the world.
Shane Rall, MD - Director of Psychiatry
Profile:
Trained to provide diagnostic clarification and help develop evidenced based treatment plans including medication management and behavioral modifications. Understanding that mental health impacts all arenas of health, working collaboratively with the patient and care team enables the greatest opportunity for wellness.
He enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, listening/creating music, reading, board/card games, and all the great outdoor activities Alaska has to offer.

Heather Wien, LPC, CDWF - Director of Behavioral Health
Education and Training:
BA in Political Theory, CA State University, Sacto.
MS in Mental Health Counseling, Capella University
Profile:
Heather was born in Fairbanks, Alaska and most recently moved to the Peninsula from Colorado. Heather taught high school for 13 years prior to working in the Behavioral Health field. She has advanced training in Trauma, utilizing a variety of modalities including psychoeducation, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR with a client-centered, trauma-informed focus. Heather also works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and other life challenges.
Heather enjoys spending time with her adult children when able, reading, hiking, cooking, watching TV and discovering new things since returning home to Alaska. She has recently taken up photography to record new areas explored and is looking forward to trying new things like kayaking and camping.

Optometry has always been my passion. My main interest is in ocular disease, but I enjoy working with all patients, from children to seniors. I completed Internships in hospital-based optometry at an IHS and VA. As well as an internship working alongside ophthalmologists assisting with pre and post-operative procedures.
Born and raised on the Kenai Peninsula. Graduate of Soldotna High School. I love to play volleyball, basketball and of course fishing is a must around here. Especially with my husband who is a fishing fanatic. I enjoy spending time with my family and my two golden retrievers.
