PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical Therapy (PT) is performed by a health care professional called a physical therapist. Physical therapy is treatment that helps you improve how your body performs physical movements.

PT aims to ease pain and help you function, move, and live better.

Your doctor might suggest this type of treatment if you’ve had an injury or illness that makes it hard to do daily tasks. It can be part of a generalized pain management plan or a specific treatment for an injury or health condition. It’s common to need physical therapy after many types of surgery, too. You might also need physical therapy to help prevent injuries before they happen.

People of All Ages benefit from PT.
