As a D.O., I am also trained in Osteopathic Manipulation Medicine which can be used to help patients with a variety of ailments beyond musculoskeletal issues.

I have recently moved to Alaska from Chicago where I completed my training in Family Medicine. Prior to that I lived in both Louisiana and Texas having grown in the New Orleans and Houston areas. I enjoy diverse cultural experiences having traveled to several countries during my time in college and Medical School. I have been practicing on the Kenai Peninsula for the last 5 years, and am excited to work with PCHS to provide care to everyone. I believe in partnering with patients, and working with them to get to their best possible health.

Profile:
Stacey Pault, PA-C, was raised on the Kenai Peninsula. She graduated from Kenai High School and continued her education at University of Northern Colorado (2000-2004). She then went on to earn her Physician Assistant degree at University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2010. Prior to returning home, she spent 4 years in family practice in Pueblo, Colorado with Dr. Richard Rivera.  

She worked alongside Dr. Marc Deede (2018-2020) at Peninsula Medical Center prior to merging their practice with PCHS. She is currently accepting new patients and has experience in general medicine of all age groups including pediatric and adult medicine with special interest in women’s health and preventative medicine. She has training in contraceptive management including implants and IUDs.  

Her experience while living and traveling internationally promotes human connection. She takes great pride in her relationship with her patients and wants to remain a resource for quality health care in her local community.

She remains humbled by the barriers to accessible medical care across the world, and has volunteered in 3rd world countries, primarily in Africa and Asia. In her free time, she enjoys mountain trekking, skiing, triathlons, fishing, camping and playing piano and guitar.

My approach with patients is to use communication skills to educate my patients about the oral and body connection and involve them in their treatment plan. This gives me a repore with my patients and gaining the trust neccesary to make them comfortable coming back to see me for future visits.


I moved to Alaska in 2022 after my husband retired from the US Army. We have both dreamed of living in this great state and finally made the move with our young son and dogs. As a family we enjoy as many outdoor adventures and we can manage to fit in our schedule. I also enjoy cruising and travel.

Profile:

Kristina was born and raised in Slovakia and Alaska became her home in 2003. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities; hiking, kayaking, snowmachining, four-wheeling, and fishing.

Kristina started her career at PCHS in 2015 and continues to offer care to children, adults, and seniors. She is a good fit to work with children who experienced trauma, have ongoing family stressors, struggle with mood/emotional dysregulation, depression, and anxiety. To help children overcome their challenges due to variety of reasons, Kristina works closely with the child’s primary caregivers, utilizing psychoeducation, trauma focused interventions (TF-CBT/DBT); play and art modalities, and teaching parenting skills.


Over the years, Kristina developed passion and narrowed her focus through extensive trainings, to help adults and seniors who experienced Complex/Developmental Trauma; who suffer from Bipolar and Related Disorders, chronic Depressive and Anxiety Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders. She is also trained and experienced to help individuals suffering from substance abuse along with their mental health challenges.

Heather was born in Fairbanks, Alaska and most recently moved to the Peninsula from Colorado. Heather taught high school for 13 years prior to working in the Behavioral Health field. She has advanced training in Trauma, utilizing a variety of modalities including psychoeducation, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR with a client-centered, trauma-informed focus. Heather also works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and other life challenges.


Heather enjoys spending time with her adult children when able, reading, hiking, cooking, watching TV and discovering new things since returning home to Alaska. She has recently taken up photography to record new areas explored and is looking forward to trying new things like kayaking and camping.

With over nine years of experience in Behavioral Health, Krys brings a compassionate and culturally competent approach to mental health therapy. She has significant training in trauma-informed and capacity-building care, with focuses on anxiety, depression, life transitions and substance use. Krys provides empathetic support while fostering anti-fragility and growth to develop the skills necessary to navigate challenges and create lasting change, with a deep commitment to holistic care.


Interests:

Born in Texas and having traveled all along the east coast, Krys returns to Alaska to savor the great outdoors once again. She also enjoys playing the violin, hiking, reading sci-fi novels, playing videogames, spending time with her Dachsund and volunteering at local libraries.
